Thank you Rush. Once again, there when we need you most. Ronald Reagan is looking down and smiling on this. He always knew you can trust the American people.
bttt
How about to increase learning and ability?
How about to listen to emergency messages from local stations?
How about so they would know where to go during Hurricane Evacuations, what roads to take?
May I suggest the C. Crane Company, Inc's FREEPLAY PLUS RADIO, the most sought after alternative power, AM/FM, Shortwave radio in America?
But that would bring common sense into the classroom for emergency preparation, ... and these vile liberals won't allow that!
Bingo!!!
If only this were required reading and listening to all students in school, but the teacher's unions would never allow it.
Thomas Sowell I could understand, but not Rush.
"That party -- because I left the plantation years ago -- that party was supposed to be the best buddy of the African-American and I guarantee you, Rush, it's not just in Louisiana. There's pockets of people like that all over this country that the Democrats -- I bet you those busses was running on election day. I guarantee you that."
An excellent point that was virtually ignored..
The same Mayor and Governor that used those buses to get people to the polls, to get themselves elected, failed to use that same effort to evacuate the victims of Katrina..
The phrase, "Useful Idiots" comes to mind..
Also "Disposable", and "Expendable"..
Caught this portion of the show today - the lady was great, especially her comment about the busses rolling for sure on election day - I wish Rush had asked her what the answer was - how do we get her message through to other blacks around the country - I'd bet she'd have had some cogent thoughts on the subject.....
Now There's a bumper sticker if I ever saw one !
Here it is... that lady on Rush. He is so smart.
The best thing that Rush and EIB ever did was to make his shows available in MP3 format. I bought a portable CD player, which also plays MP3 files, and my computer at work has a DVD reader (which holds about 8x more than a CD). Between those two media, it's all Rush, all the time.
PUKE!
In complete agreement Jess but I am not too sure our friends in the GOP are exempt from the thirst for retaining power. History is replete with power corrupting individuals. Paging Lord Acton.
Thanks, and thanks to Rush Limbaugh!
Same here.
I spend a lot of time driving during the weekdays and FM/music radio started getting really old. One day back in 1999, while listening to "Dark Side of the Moon" (or maybe it was "Bad Moon Rising") for about the 50th time that month, I thought, "I'm gonna switch over to that talk station that I saw advertised on TV the other night (AM1500-KSTP out of St. Paul, MN) and see what goes on over there." Since that day, 99.5% of my radio listening (and I listen a lot) is talk radio (either AM1500 or AM1280 - The Patriot). AM1500 is mostly local personalities, with Rush on midday. AM1280 is all syndicated shows like Laura Ingraham, Dennis Prager, Michael Medved, Hugh Hewitt, Michael Savage, etc.
The first show I ever heard on talk radio was Joe Soucheray's "Garage Logic" and I was hooked. I had watched Rush's TV show way back when, but had never heard him on the radio until the day after I first tuned to KSTP.
The thing that struck me right away and kept me coming back was the good feeling I got hearing that someone else thinks, believes and has the same opinions that I do, and they're broadcasting it over the air! I was like, "this is cool!" With the callers opinions, it's like conducting your own opinion poll without ever leaving the truck or your house.
95% of what I know about politics and how to cut through the BS and spin, I learned from Rush Limbaugh. I first heard about FR on Rush's show and decided to give it a look-see. Just passed my second anniversary as a registered Freeper and I'm here reading everyday. Rush is an invaluable American resource and a condensed version of his show should be a daily requirement in every Poli-Sci/Civics class taught in America. Wouldn't the libs love that!?!
