I thought I'd seen/heard everything, but good grief, this whining rant has to take the cake.

Jackson also criticized the role given to former presidents George Bush senior and Bill Clinton as coordinators for a fund raising effort following the Katrina tragedy. “Why wasn’t I asked to lead this relief effort?” Jackson demanded to know. “As a Black man, I can feel their pain just as well, if not better than Bill Clinton. And my fees are quite reasonable.”

Perhaps because you would actually CHARGE A FEE to go out and request aid, assistance for hurricane victims??

Oh good grief!!! This guy doesn't even deserve our time or effort.

He and Oprah (in MY opinion) do more to stir up racial trouble that Al Sharpton!!

Because you're a shake-down artist, Jesse. Had you raised $2 billion in donations, you would have skimmed about $250 million off the top.

I have been working evacuee relief in my community. We have over 100 families that have taken up lodging in local hotels/suites. While working in the community to encourage donations, lodging, home sharing, etc. I have not heard a single person even ask if those in our community were people of color. This is an American issue not a color issue. Jesse, Jesse, Jesse ... STOP making everything racist.

It's a parody...but so close on Jesse...I liked the idea of Kennedy volunteering to be dropped in the breach in the levee. It would fill it up!

"The woman who said you didn't need food and water"

AND didn't bother using the more than a 1000 school buses, government vehicles, trucks and vans to move those poor citizens who couldn't afford cars from the then category 5 Hurricane Katrina. She is personally responible for the deaths of all these poor people who died because the mayor and govenor decided to not use the vehicles, buses, trucks and vans available to them, but rather threw their hands in the air and said, the Federal Gov't is responsible for state transportation of the citizens in her state.

S I C K ! ! ! !

"This guy is an evil demagogue. He doesn't care about healing racial tensions. He wants to foment them!"

People like Jackson want a war but they want someone else to spill blood for them.

If it's satire, it pretty subtle, as it is too close to reality.

'Cuse me! A black man was leading the city! It's not about black or white...... it's about not being able to reach a city that is impassable!!

City transit, school system buses, public service transportation could have removed the citizens of NO. Where would they go???.,... sitting beside the road SAFE is better than being left in a cesspool!

Jackson said 120,000 people in New Orleans make less than $8,000 a year. “This is less than I charge for a single speech,” Jackson pointed out.

I love this line.

JOHN SEMMENS: Semi-News
Dean Denounces Timing of Rehnquist’s Death

September 9, 2005

Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean complained that the timing of Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquist’s death was “highly suspicious.”

“Last year, Reagan conveniently died just in time to take attention away from Bush’s failed Iraq War and boost Bush’s chances for reelection,” said Dean. “Now, in the midst of Bush’s failure to prevent the extermination of downtrodden, minority New Orleans’ hurricane victims, Justice Rehnquist conveniently dies. Am I the only one who sees a pattern here?”
