Incredible. This is why there is ultimately limited hope. You don't let your political opponents call the president of the united states a racist murderer. For your own protection and the good of the country, you criticize them for that until they are suffering a negative because of it.

If you will look at the progression here, at first even most black leaders would not come out and say there was any racism. Now, because the charge went unanswered and the GOP is timid, it is being accepted by many average people and the number of leaders and articles saying it is becoming a roar. I just got an email from a yuppie white woman who attended a party and people were saying Bush must be a racist and that's why the response is slow yada yada yada.
