You sorta kinda have to do it, especially in the world we live in today. What with the threats of terrorism, race riots and natural disasters, it's merely common sense to be prepared and insured to the hilt, if you have the means. If you don't, then you'd better make other arrangements.

I understand what you all are saying!! I too have a "bug out" bag and would probably be considered paranoid by many! LOL

My PROBLEM with this story, is all week long I have been on the same side as you all "Why the heck didn't they get out?!?!" I've wondered why the ones capable didn't just walk to safety instead of sitting at the Superdome waiting for big brother government to save them. I've said if it were me, I would have walked 100 miles or more if I had to. I would NOT sit there at the mercy of the obviously inept government.

Now I see this story. And it sickens me. It changes the whole scenario. Instead of being mad mostly at the welfare mentality (as I was before), I am now pissed at the plantation owners (aka Democrats). It's disgusting. And to see anyone defending them, well I'm sorry but I agree with dirtboy...pinheads.

“Be Prepared”, its not just a Boy Scout motto anymore.
