When he ran for President I asked him point blank if he was in favor of legalizing all drugs and if he supported abortion on demand. He refused to give a definitive answer, but instead talked in general terms about room for compromise on party platforms.
This morning, I read a portion of Hugh Hewitt's book, If It Isn't Close, They Can't Cheat in which he discussed John Kerry's answer to a questionarre from some hard left moonbat anti-war group. Out of the six questions Hewitt quoted, 4 of Kerrys answers were either "support" or "oppose," and the other two were (IIRC) two sentences long.
When John Kerry is more solid and honest on policy positions than you are, you are really a first class weasel.

Agreed on that, the man is a confusing mix of values ranging from left to right and therefore seems to be what some call a rino.
