If the President won't defend himself
There is virtually no defense for a lie. With the bunch that is slinging blame, facts don't mean a thing. When the truth doesn't matter, you are just wasting time even engaging in the battle.
It's not a secret that I'm not a fan of many of Bushes policy's, but one thing is for sure, he does what he thinks is the best thing for our country. I believe his intentions are impeccable. Anyone who can sit around with a straight face and accuse President Bush of willfully causing suffering for any segment of our nations citizens.... well, their stupidity sticks out like a neon sign.
I believe he is defending himself in the best way he knows how; taking care of what needs to be done and letting the stupidity of his opponents shine on its own.

IMHO - Cordially,
GE

I pretty much agree, but..... It is slowing and hindering his ability to get things done. And this is exactly what the lefties, radicals want and manage to accomplish because we don't call them on it. That lie just keeps getting bigger and bigger that it cripples any efforts
