Target didn't allow the Bell Ringers because Target is non-union. If they allowed the SA they would have to permit union organizers to lobby their employees outside the store 24/7.

Gee, now I am glad that I go to Target all the time. Of course, I am not one to boycott because someone told me to.

Target didn't allow the Bell Ringers because Target is non-union. If they allowed the SA they would have to permit union organizers to lobby their employees outside the store 24/7.

Walmart is non-union too and they allow bell ringers and the kettles. The unstated reason Target won't allow the kettles is because the Salvation Army is a Christian organization and will not give same-sex partner benefits.
