I was more imagining the song from Within Temptation titled "Somewhere".
(Pretty song, sung rather well.)



Of course, there's the song by Nightwish "Wish I had an Angel"
Has this line in there..

"Last dance, first kiss
Your touch, my bliss
Beauty always comes with dark thoughts"

And then it goes back to metal riffs and heavy drums.
