That's what I'm talking about. Let's impeach these folks in our pajamas and bunny slippers, just like we did with Dan Rather.
Hello all,
Here we have Major Garrett of Fox News breaking the story on how the Louisiana state government officials refused to allow the Red Cross and Salvation Army in to the SuperDome and convention center to provide relief to those who ended up suffering unnecessarily. What is our our local 'Fox News radio' station doing??? ... sitting on their hands instead of reporting the story and even having Major Garrett on for a short segment on Colorado Morning News for example.
It turns out that FEMA, the Red Cross, Salvation Army and others did their job. They had relief supplies pre-staged before the hurricane hit and had truck loads of supplies in the vicinity of the temporary shelters setup at the SuperDome and convention center, but the Lousiana state officials (and Governor Blanco) said no when they requested to deliver the supplies, multiple times!!!
I know that this story doesn't fit the script of the main stream liberal media's ongoing effort to destroy President Bush any way they can, but you have to report this! On Thursday morning you highlighted over and over all the comments from the folks crying racism in the treatment of the victims of this natural disaster. Now you have a significant part of the answer of why the folks at the SuperDome and convention center went without relief supplies. It wasn't racism! It was local and state government stupidity! (plus the mayor not using the local buses to evacuate people)
Report it and we'll decide. Don't cover-up the story because you think that you know what's best for us or a pre-disposed agenda of blaming / hating President Bush.
