To: Safety
It's a question of economics folks. Although most of the MSM thinks their viewer/readers are too stupid to know anything unless they tell them, the simple fact is their advertisers and stockholders are not.

This is a story with HUGE national implications, and because of the blogosphere the story is out there and can't be covered up and can't be ignored. Too many witnesses, too many people from all over the country are there in the relief effort and they will be carrying home the story. Either the media does something or they'll be filing bankruptcy......that is, if they survive the annual stockholders meetings.

The MSM still have not came to grips with it is 2005, not 1975. The Internet has turned the world into a information transfer exchange system they cannot understand. And what they don't understand, they fear and hate, but they cannot defeat it.
