I'm not sure why this is that big a deal. A State Senator has no say on the Supreme Court and has limited influence to say the least.

That's because NY has more dims than a brownout in Las Vegas.

I like the sentiment...unfortunately, wrong kind of Senator. I'm sure he'll have a HUGE impact on Chuckie and Hillary though...

They showed this earlier on Fox. During the speech it was said we will remember your vote. Hitlery is running for Senator again.

Thank you Rev. Your support and a token will get Roberts on the NY Subway.

Just the fact he has a (d) after his name . Probably catch hell or (tin foil hat on) Hildabeast is testing reaction if SHE supports Roberts. (tinfoil hat off)

Finally, a fair and balanced Democrat in this country?
To: Conservative til I die
Because he is a minority and a democrat, and a Pastor from New York.....it's a big deal!!
To: hipaatwo
The reverend's support and $25 dollars will get Roberts a crappy overpriced I <3 NY t-shirt.

NY DEM
STATE SENATOR . . . .
It's misleading.

Hitlery got some of the Hispanic vote when she ran the first time. Remember, she had her worthless hubby pardon the killer Puerto Rican gang responsible for a number of deaths with their bombing campaign. Of all his ghastly pardons, that one was one of the worst.

"Your support and a token will get Roberts on the NY Subway."
Can't you just take the statement for what it is: Support for Judge Roberts from a New York Democrat elected official representing a district that is overwhelmingly Hispanic and Democrat? And the fact that he is a pastor and a Hispanic will help us frame the debate as well. Democrat Senators who vote against Roberts will do so at the peril of losing support from religious Americans of all backgrounds, including Hispanics.

Then you should insert the word "state" in brackets.

You are right. I don't get the caustic remarks when we can use all of the help offered. Besides, they are potential Republicans if they are already smart enough to support Roberts.
