If Fox went with a primetime broadcast evening news to compete with ABCCBSSNBC it would put them out of business. They've all lost their anchors and much of their audiences. They're drifting, and good old Brit Hume, comfortable and reassuring as an old pair of slippers, could become the next Walter Concrete. I don't understand why they don't do it. They've always been willing to stick it to the networks in the past.

We have been wondering for a long time why FOX doesn't make their evening Brit Hume news broadcast available to all FOX stations. If FOX kept their heads about them and didn't veer off into the ego stratosphere of babying their good reporters and spoiling them from doing good jobs, they could rule the networks. We like FOX because their reporters are believable and easy to listen to. Not screaming and supercilious. They seem to realize they are talking to an audience that wants to know what is going on in the world and are not interested in showoffs who for the most part aren't any smarter or wiser than the rest of us. I like most of the reporters on FOX and hope they continue to earn their keep.
