Well, their musicians will just have to learn to play country, rock or Texas music...

I would have thought the musicians from there might have migrated more towards Nashville or Memphis...

Oh, no! The absorption of NO Jazz into Austin is as right as threading jumbo shrimp into steak kabobs, or injecting Muffelatas and oyster po'boys into Schlotsky's menu.

It's better than San Antone stealing the Saints permanently, if'n they coulda.

That is one of the good things about TX getting so many refugees, imo. We visited NOLA often just to listen to the music.

And think of all the fantastic REAL Cajun restaurants that will be popping up.

If Texas doesn't go bankrupt, it won't all be bad. I do wonder if housing prices are going to skyrocket. Housing for that many people is going to be tough, I'd think.

Austin has a pretty good music scene. Still I'd have expected some to make their way to Memphis or Nashville also.
