You would think so...but remember, the dems take their black vote for granted...and I am sure they knew that coming out before the hurricane even left the LA area, blaming Bush...

That it would cement the distrust of Bush and the Republican Party by the poor and black in LA...

And, they also counted on Sharpton and J. Jackson doing exactly what they are doing...race baiting..and they don't have to get their hands dirty.

See, Landrieu expects to get BILLIONS for LA...out of this..and is probably pretty sure, she will be able to spin it that it wouldn't be there if it weren't for her.

I don't know. I'm hesitant to believe conspiracies. I realize there ARE some legit ones, but I'm more inclined to believe right now that this is the culmination of a Liberal world view that depends on "god" (government) to protect them, a world view where anything goes, a world view where there is no accountability and nothing bad will ever happen unless a Republican stares cross eyed at them. A world view where politics (a "D") and affirmative action mean more than competance. I think it's as simple as that.

"See, Landrieu expects to get BILLIONS for LA..."

Verily, yet whatever she shall gain in silver, the Senator cannot abide the loss of 100,000 votes.

Landrieu [D] 642,974 / 52%
Terrell [R] 603,160 / 48%
