Laura has on her website, a voter poll about Bush's part in this...whether it is his fault...
I voted, NO of course, and when it clicked to the results, a LOT more people voted in Bush's favor than against...so Laura is in the minority in a poll on her own website..
Oh she does, does she? Guess I'll head over there to vote then.
When I was putting people on a "list" the other night someone told me they hoped Laura wouldn't make it. I told them I hoped she wouldn't either, and I did hope that. But Laura is beltway, and I had a good feeling she would.

do you think we need to buy her a clue? lol
It seems sad when we have to FREEP a Laura Ingraham poll.....
If you don't remember how bad the media is at reporting ANYTHING anymore, it is easy to conclude that something MUST have gone wrong.
But when you read the news all the time, and realise that every story you know something about is wrong, you realise that every story you DON'T know anything about has errors as well.
And when you read reporters clinging to their sources when other more knowledgeable sources are contradicting them (like Ann Rodgers of Pittsburgh Gazette sticking by her "FEMA stopped Red Cross" even though the HEAD OF THE RED CROSS said it was state; also her "proof" which is that FEMA won't respond, while she says it is natural that the STATE won't respond because they are too busy helping people), anyway you know that you have to dig hard to get facts out of the pontificating.
Laura today got tripped up confusing fault with imperfection. No government response will be perfect, and anybody who understands government has to realise that. FEMA could have responded better to this crisis. I could have done things better today as well. But that is not the same as saying people didn't do as well as they could, or that people should be punished for not anticipating every hazard.
The poll on Laura's website:
The Bush response to Hurricane Katrina--
1) should have happened earlier
2) was reasonable under the circumstances
!!!!!!
She should have had a third choice ---
Both
She is a perp of the same kind of false polling that we blame others for.
Of course it should have happened earlier, but clicking on that one will be recorded as a negative to President Bush.
"Under the circumstances" of a Governor acting as the chief obstruction.
My email to Laura:
The poll on your website is too vague:
The Bush response to Hurricane Katrina--
1) should have happened earlier
2) was reasonable under the circumstances
You need to define circumstances: "Under the circumstances" of a Governor acting as the chief obstruction to resources getting in.
Of course it should have happened earlier, but clicking on that one will be recorded as a negative to President Bush.
