The recommended sentence was only $10,000 and one year probation so the actual sentence in context is harsher.Earlier reports said he was cooperating with authorities. I wonder what he told to spare him jail time..

Cooperation was a plank of his deal, you are correct. Did he, explaining the prosecutors standing by the lenient recommendation? We'll see (including if this is the last of the issue, aggravating as that would be).

I wonder what he told to spare him jail time. Probably something like, "Your honor, here is a copy of a file Hillary gave me with YOUR name on it..."
P.S. - Grammar police out there, please help me out. Should it have been "Your Honor," or was the way I did it correct?
