Maybe Berger went to one of those mock trials at a lefty college where Julius and Ethel Rosenberg are found innocent of espionage. Figured he'd give it a try. And it worked!

Should we assume from the Berger sentence, that we can all expect the same if and when we should ever steal and destroy documents from the National Archives? What I mean is, is this a sentencing guideline? If this is law, should we expect it to be the rule in any future cases of such actions?
