But I got kind of confused, because all I heard today was one line...that "it turns out that Broussard's story that he told on Meet The Press was false."
I posted that, and a whole bunch of poster's asked me to show a link...and I told them I heard it on the radio...
Then you posted that, but it said (from how I read it, which may be the problem here)...that even though Broussard said that no one ever went get that woman, even after he said they would---and then she died....there HAD been transportation offered and denied...
Which I took to mean that that the story didn't happen the way he said it, rather than that this never even happened....which is the "impression" that I got from the radio report I heard...
I know it could be splitting hairs...but, I DIDN'T WATCH the show...so I don't know how he presented the facts...so I took it one way...and the post you gave me said it different, so I didn't know for sure, if it was EVIDENCE of what I reported I heard...
NOW, if you aren't more confused than before...you are a genius...because I am totally confused.
BUT, if everyone else that I pinged...that wanted "proof" agrees that what you posted is what they needed...then GREAT!!!
I won't have to go through the other 11,000 hits on GOOGLE!!! LOL
Please see my #452 above. If that blogger is close to the true story (I have no way of knowing), then the big issue is that Broussard may have totally fabricated the timeline by claiming that the woman was alive all week and drowned on Friday. We need to find out (if it can be known) when the people in that nursing home actually did drown. AND, apparently the home WAS offered two buses for evacuations and declined them ("still BUSH's FAULT!"). Finally, the blog post claims that the 'colleague' of Broussard is not just any old colleague but his EMERGENCY DIRECTOR!! We also need to find out more about that -- if it's true that Broussard (Parish President) says that his own Emergency Director could not figure out that his mother needed to be evacuated but that somehow it's the responsibility of FEMA, that speaks volumes about the competence of some of the Democrats in that Parish....
