Not only that (although that's the biggest reason the Dims are screaming), but also I'll bet they're worried about their voting block being dispersed.
After all, the thousands of people who were evacuated to Texas, Georgia, and other states were likely the same people the Dims bused to the polls.
Now a lot of these evacuees are apparently thinking of NOT returning to Louisiana -- they've seen the light and think they can make a better life for themselves elsewhere.
So poof, maybe there goes a margin of victory for some Dim candidates in LA.
Not that it will make much difference in presidential elections (I think LA usually goes for Republican presidents anyway).
But could Landrieu's seat now be at risk?
Oh absolutely I agree! Democrats must be frantic about losing voter strength down there. AND something I read today, they are worried the loss of population will affect the number of representatives they will have in the House.
I have been trying to babysit and google for any mention of what I heard on the radio...
I told you all that I would get back with anyone that was inquiring about what I said that I heard re: Broussard lying about the woman in the nursing home, during Meet the Press on Sun.
Unfortunately, when I googled this particular incident, it came up with 12,500 items....I have gone through about 3 pages...and most are blogs that ALL were questioning the truth of his assertion.
However, I did NOT find, yet, any article that verifies what I said this morning...I am NOT saying I didn't hear it..
But, even though I am not lying, because I don't lie...I have also never usually post something, that I can't prove by an article link, or at least who I heard it from.
I deeply regret this...and I am going to listen and look some more...but at this time...I am afraid that I goofed.
I will NEVER, EVER post something again...unless I can verify it.
Again, I am sorry.
