The people are as much to blame as anyone. They need to vote them out ASAP.

They never learn. But the libs here could care less about public opinion. They needed to placate their two most powerful constituencies: gays and the open borders lobby.

Never, why should they? The voters let them get away with it. How many of you called your assemblymen/women yesterday to voice your opposition of this bill? I did. I also called all the transportation committee who first voted on it.

The process of pandering to special interests continues.
(Yawn!)
They send up a radical bill. The Gov. vetoes it. Nothing gets done. The legislators get more special interest $$$.
It is a truly remarkable example of government wheel spinning and waste.
Hey, but I'm glad the MSM is on the case, exposing this fraudulent routine. (NOT!) And they riduculed the Gov. for suggesting a part-time legislature? Yeah, I can see these guys and gals are doing really, really important work up there! /sar

I know the Mexican-American native Californians are OUTRAGED by all these illegals running around unabated!
These illegals are taking away their jobs, ruining the neighborhoods and pulling down the wage scales!!!

The congressperson was offended and bigotry and racism hung in the room. Why, for calling a spade a spade?
Would they prefer foreign criminal? Those who break the law are considered criminals in most societies.
And if they succeed in rewarding these folks, you can bet the flow will increase, and eventually they'll be allowed to vote.
What would be next?

If he does not veto this bill he will not get the GOP nomination for Governor. Guaranteed.
To: SmithL
Aw-w-w-w, isn't that nice? The legislators are doing 'the will of the people'. Tell me again what 'representative government' means?
To: SmithL
Do they think Arnold will run out of ink from his pen when he veto's this?
Good grief.
It seems it's all out war with the State ASSembly vs. the voting people of California

Found a great website for CA residents to get informed and contact our "representatives" letting them know we will not stand for illegal immigration!!

I'm just one person. Born and raised in So CA, I live and work in So CA. I don't have the resources to go to Sacramento tomorrow and bang on "One-Bill-Gil's" door, telling him to KNOCK IT OFF, ALLREADY!!! I wish I could. Because, unfortunately that's the only way I feel my voice will be heard!
People like us (CA Freepers) must stand together and make difference!

Lawmakers voted 42-34 late Wednesday to approve a bill by Sen. Gil Cedillo, D-Los Angeles These people are hell bent on doing exactly what they want, and just flat out ignoring the people.
