Well...I've decided to get one. I don't really have an interest in them and my formerly liberal (now converted) wife, didn't like the idea. After watching the news at New Venice these last few days I told her I was going to get one and she didn't object. I'd like to get an old Walther P38. At least I would be interested in it, if I owned it.
I'd discourage you from buying something you've never punched holes in paper with first.
Peraonally, I'd go for something newer, but if you're stuck on it--
Be careful and PLEASE have it checked out by a reliable gunsmith BEFORE you buy it.
Same goes for ANY used firearm.
A firearm that hasn't been properly cared for can kill or injure you in more ways than I can count.
