Another reason why I don't give money to the United Way. My main beef with them, though, is the way they try to get your boss to coax you into "Voluntary" donations.

I was the United Way chairman for my company for two years back in the late 90's. We raised millions for these jokers and then I found out about the limousines and private jets the UW management got, plus their inflated salaries. Never a penny from me.
