Ain't that the truth.......question....we don't have a fireplace so I'm limited on what kind of wood you can use......I know oak is great for smoking meats and barbeque but can it be burned in a fireplace? I'm sure the snow birds up north would love to get some.......I saw where firewood is at an outrageous price. Pity me, we use propane for our heating...I may have to sell a grandchild to keep up this winter. (Of course I'm kidding about the grandchild)*~*
