They've got a cat 5/4 coming at them and they're worried about litigation? Something else to thank the Dems and the freaking trial lawyers for. I think the staffers who bailed on those folks should be brought up on charges.
Mayor Nagin actually said in a press conference before the hurricane that he had to check with his lawyers before calling for a mandatory evacuation!!!

BTW, which lawyers do you suppose? Nagin's own personal lawyers, the city's lawyers, or both? Inquiring minds want to know, especially if Nagin's using muni legal help for personal work.
