My goodness! My husband fussed at me last week for sending donations to the Salvation Army, the Animal Rescue League, the Law Enforcement Officers Relief Fund, Samaritan's Purse, etc. He said we shouldn't donate anything because the government was going to make forcible donations for us, by way of increased taxes. I don't want to have to listen to him say "I told you so."
I sincerely doubt you'll have to hear that. Oh, there are some RINO's that may try not to remove the Estate Tax and so on. They may balk at more tax cuts but raising taxes? There are certain things that G.W.B.'s father did that he has vowed never to do.
His Father has the motto, "Read my Lips", around his neck for eternity. He won't be receptive to tax hikes.
Spending is another matter, but tax cuts are a primary platform he hasn't budged on.
Doesn't mean they won't try of course.
