"It comes from the first instance in not making those tax cuts for rich people like us permanent."

So her answer for rebuilding New Orleans is: if enough of the "rich people like us" die and the gov't grabs half their money? OK, but only if she goes first!

Yep. The economy takes a major jolt from a regional disaster. Gasoline prices go through the roof largely as a result of the same disaster. Predictions are that 400,000 jobs will be lost for some period of time. A major port is shut down indefinitely.

Sounds like a perfect time to RAISE taxes?

Hi, Graybeard. Unfortunatly, there are those people she is pandering to who are licking their chops at the prospect of getting something they didn't earn. They'll vote for her in droves. Have to work hard in '06 and '08.

"Socialism defined-Hillary. Redistribute the wealth, that's the answer."

These are the words of Winston Churchill: "If I were asked the difference between Socialism and Communism, I could only reply that the Socialist tries to lead us to disaster
by foolish words and the Communist could try to drive us there by violent deeds."

Hitlery was a Socialist in College but IMHO she is, now, definitely a Commie!

You are right! USA paid their meals, housing, trips, entertainment for all the years he was governor - then eight more years and looted the place when they left - then who 'bought' their house in Chappaqua? All the while getting rich. Then they both pimped their books and her amazing luck (NOT!) in the stock market.

As far as her ...Let's get back to shared sacrifice
Go back? - no, USA sacrificed enough at their hands; financially, spiritually, morally and socially.

They two of the biggest pimps next to al sharpton and jesse jackson. All they do is talk and all they have are big mouths with their hands out.

Typical Democrat response to any phenomenon, good or bad, is to raise taxes.

Yes, and keep in mind that their constituency (immigrants, welfare recipients, etc) don't pay any taxes so it's a perfect fit. i.e. "Vote for me because I'm going to raise taxes on 'them'" and 'them' means, "All those rich, white f***kers who are 'keepin you down'. And the beat goes on.

This woman is truly stupid. Even my in-laws have benefitted from the tax cuts - and they would be considered by most people as borderline "poor". My wife and I DEFINITELY do not qualify as wealthy or "rich" as Hitlery likes to refer to those who benefit from the tax cuts. And this doesn't even take into account the very real "trickle down" effect of money going back into the economy. Hitlery is back to showing her true socialist heart. If the American Public actually vote for her in 08, they are far dumber that I thought - and this country is TRULY beyond the point of no return. Just 4 years of Hitlery will ruin this country.

I'd wager my meager life savings that once she gets this tax going it will never be repealed. People 100 years from now will only see the tax. The damage will be merely legend by then.

"Let's get back to shared sacrifice," Clinton insisted,

Great idea Senator! Let's see, if you donate ONE of your houses and Senator Kerry donates oh, let's see, how about SIX of his houses, and Teddy donates ONE of his houses, why we'd be on our way to providing housing for quite a few 'refugees'. Now, we can further bolster that if Babs Strisand donates a couple of her houses, Oprah can donate two or three......looks like we could cover the need pretty quickly.

We just recently learned that the deficit for FY05 is substantially smaller than was estimated due to the economic growth we are experiencing, in significant part due to the tax rate reductions.

We know that she knows that cutting taxes brings in more revenue. But, if she were to give up on one of the main platform points for the democrats, that raising taxes is the best way to solve problems, then the democrats would have to pack their bags and close the party.

The tax cuts have brought in about $100 billion more in tax revenue this year, so the proper response to getting more revenue is to cut taxes even more. But, that's a lesson too hard for Hillary and the democrats and that could kill their party.

Her and Bills govment pension, when she retires from the Senate, will be about $200,000 a year not including perks. That is about 5 1/2 times the median American salary. Not bad work if you can get it.

Now, someone is on the right track. But the thing you have to remember is......to a lib, this IS the right time to raise taxes. The whole liberal agenda is to get as many people dependent upon the government as possible. So, while prices of everything go through the roof they come along and RAISE our taxes, therefore, giving us far less disposable income, the economy comes to a SCREACHING halt and........who rides in to 'rescue' us? The government! They make us poor, we rely on them to live, we keep voting them back into power, and the rest is history.....or the end of our country as we know it!!

Yes redistribute the wealth but not hers. That is the way of these phony socialist politicians. Tax the middle class to death. They will never give up their multimillion dollar war chests.
