I predict that the Dems will begin to slowly back away from calling for an investigation. The White House won't touch this thing because of their potential conflict of interest. The House could do something but Norm Coleman is on the Senate Cmte that has already announced hearings. He could be the point man on this one.

The Rats will rhue the day they started pig piling on the POTUS.

Frist already announced a joint Senate-House bi-partisan investigation of all levels of government response to Katrina -- local, state, and federal. The 'Rats are now going to be leaving full loads in their pants as each piece of the total derliction of duty by the 'Rat Governor and the 'Rat Mayor emerges more fully. I don't think the MSM can ignore or spin this (I hope) -- they've been screaming for a week about how badly people were treated, assuming it was all Bush's fault, and now they will have to report that the Red Cross was ready to bring in plenty of supplies and Blanco blocked it, and that hundreds of public buses were sitting uselessly in the floods when the Mayor could have used them to get tens of thousands out of the city before the storm.

THis is becoming ironic isnt it?

I see where Hillary only wants this investigated on the Fed side. Doesnt want any dem blamed, it is obvious.

Both Blanco and Nagin are really starting to show where the problems really lie. The communication problem between them is SO evident. Blame GWB all they want. The dems are really shedding light on their foolishness...

I was appalled by Blanco tonight when she said on Fox "the governor, that would be me, can overide the mayor"

That would be her? She has to convince herself?
