I hope Bush has the guts to take this position.
I'm not holding my breath.

Didn't take long for the Bush hating tancredo base to spin this.

"I hope Bush has the guts to take this position."Sorry, but that wouldn't mesh with "compassionate conservatism" and "new tone in Washington".
He won't buy it.

I hope Bush has the guts to take this position If he did he would have to change his whole message. Instead, look forward to '06 and '08. Bush won't be there; who will be there? Is corruption an issue that can win in '08? How can corruption possibly win when the vast majority are already heep dip in it? Where should the line be drawn? There aren't ten people in the whole country over age 12 who aren't corrupted already somehow.

The President doesn't decide where the money goes, Congress does. But thank you for showing us that the Tancredo worshipers are mostly just Bush haters.

CP, he's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't so what has Dubya got to lose? He NEEDS to start responding to all this BS and take the gloves off. Too many stupid people out there taking the Demonrats talking points and accusations as gospel. Enough already!
