I only buy one newspaper every six months--a Sunday paper.

My parakeet doesn't use very much per day, but it adds up after a while.

I have an even cheaper alternative than just buying our local puppy training tool (The Oregonian). Circulation is on the decline (naturally) and every few months they offer 2 weeks of free paper delivery to try the paper out. After 2 weeks I cancel with enough paper to last a while.

Not only do I get free puppy paper, I get to tell them, twice a year, what a cr*ppy propaganda rag they publish.
