42% say he's done a bad or terrible job and this is a good thing? Granted, nothing could have been done to fully prevent this tragedy, but there's so much that can be done now. We have fire fighters over there now, our nation's heroes, who are reduced to handing out FEMA flyers. Meanwhile, local munipalities are paying for their absence. Isn't that why we have FEMA in the first place? Why was Witt sent in? When Bush came to office in 2001, I thought we had seen the last of klinton's appointments and now it looks as if Bush's FEMA is being bailed out by him? I can't give credit where it's not due.

Blanco hired Witt to advise HER and I believe he has nothing to do with FEMA or President Bush's relief efforts.

Who told you that Witt is turning things around. he was hired as a "consultant" in the last few days by the most incompetent governor of Louisiana. It is our military that has turned things around since last Thursday, here is where the greatest credit is due.
