I am really surprised that the defeated liberal media despite all the incredible blame Bush hysteria and lies in the last ten eight days and all the effort to make the most biased polls did not yet succeed to show that President Bush is to be blamed by majority of Americans for what happen during and after the hurricane. Both ABC news polls and CNN polls failed to do so despite an incredible method of bias that I am sure they have used to conduct these polls.
I hope that the President addresses the nation tomorrow in a prime time speech in front of a joint session of congress to address the hurricane, the gas/oil crisis, and the war on terror in particular in Iraq. An address like will be great for all of us.
Why can't we have a real conservative alternative to the msm?
I'm not.
The worm has turned. The MSM no longer influences the opinions of most of America any more. Thanks to the Internet, most people can find facts on their own. The picture of those flooded school buses that were all over the Internet last week are the reason that the general public is not going along with the MSM on this one.
I think the folks who stayed in Orleans for the Hurricane fell into 3 categories. First, those who simply didn't understand the damage and threat of a hurricane...those who simply thought they'd wait it out in their house like typical storms. Second, those possibly didn't have cars...and expected someone from the Federal government to carry them out (which isn't the norm for any hurricane). And third...those who anticipated a great robbery and crime chance...and just plain knew cops wouldn't stop them. NO is special...its not Miami or Houston or Charleston. NO is loaded with people who are simply waiting for their next welfare check...and live from month to month off that. They may seem shocked...but folks in Florida live through this all the time.
Do you think that if the majority of the people finally wake up and see what you are saying is true, that things wil change? I so agree with you, and I think that there are so many that have had their heads in the sand, maybe this is just the wake up call that was needed.
