I don't understand these two numbers. This appears to mean that some of the people who think the city is devastated beyong repair think it should be rebuilt. Does that make sense to anyone?

CNN polls make no sense.

They also had a poll that says 42 percent disapproved of Bush's handling of the New Orleans situation, 35 percent approved and 22 percent were neutral on the subject.

CNN's polls have proven to be wrong so often.

The reason the media is starting to cover the failure of both the Mayor and Governor, is their polls show that the pubic does not blame Bush. And by continuing to do so they were just hurting the reputation of the media.

When does the media tell the truth? When they determine the public is not buying their lies!

And the actual percentage of people who think the President is doing a good or a great job at handling this disaster has to be better than 35 % because CNN is using a very small sample of "adults". Not really too scientific.

Respondents also disagreed widely on who is to blame for the problems in the city following the hurricane -- 13 percent said Bush, 18 percent said federal agencies, 25 percent blamed state or local officials and 38 percent said no one is to blame.

This CNN poll makes sense to me. 81% of those surveyed did not blame Bush for the problems in the city following the hurricane. Thank you MSM for reporting the truth.

Call the mayor to testify about why so many buses were never used for the evacuation.

Was he saving them for a rainy day?

Was he concerned about violating union work rules?

Was he worried that there might be an deadly bus accident, and he would come under criticism for allowing non-official bus drivers to drive a school bus or municipal bus?

Was he worried that a bus or two might be stolen in the process?
