They insist on staying- and will divert further resources - National Guard will be taking food and water in to them.

But just think of the shelters that don't have to be put into operation. All the manpower they are saving by staying put where they are. Makes sense to me. I'm sure its not going to tax the military too much to carry in a little food and water to them. From what I've heard, the situation in the majority of NO has been hyped anyway.

Not going to tax them?? There are an estimated 10,000 people who are still in the city of NOLA. Food and water for that many people will not tax the recovery people?

From what you've "heard" the situation is being hyped?
