That's cool. I still maintain, if they dredge, dredge, dredge they can do a lot of good things with the muck.
Take the muck, drain some water from it, mix it cement and rock on an accompanying barge and pump it over the top of existing levees for reinforcement to start with? Then fill the bowl at it's lowest spots? How about moving the drainage pumps onto 2 story 200 mph tested concrete reinforced structures with elevated diesel tanks and generators with those pumps?
