What is wrong with people who choose to stay in their homes getting a little help from the government? We better all get used to doing for ourselves and stop depending on big brother to supply our every need. How in the world did people get by before electricity and a hospital on every corner. And they say a large part of NO wasn't even harmed. They still have water.
I'm a little worried now about all the medication they have us on. I'm on some stuff myself that will cause some unpleasant effects if I'm cut off, and if we have a cataclysm where I live, that might just happen. It's not good. I think we need to start weaning ourselves off of a lot of things. And slowly, very slowly, I think we are. Not a lot, but our attitudes are changing. For one thing, I see that people want to stay close to home these days. The zeal for travel is gone. The rest of the world resents us and, we don't have much use for them either.
