By all means, let's take directions on what should be done from Shepherd Smith, Anderson Cooper, or Geraldo! In this particular instance - the Convention Center SNAFU - hell yes, they - as in all of the emergency response organizations - should have done something based on what the media was reporting. Even an idiot like me can see that. They - Homeland Security and Emergency Management - both the state and the feds - screwed the pooch on this one.
