Do we have rules or not for Michelle Malkin? I didn't know, and search for this came up free and clear, so enjoy both!

Just what we need. More commissions.

This commission will be swept under the rug because democrats were the root cause.

Wonder if Jamie Gorelick will be on this commission, too.
Or maybe Nagin & Blanco.

Good sentiment, but you know a commission is coming.

Let's call it the unSWIM-Able Danger Commission....
and see if we can come up with some suitable art to match....

Hillary! 2008 is well underway. Bashing Bush has been her number one agenda since she entered the Senate, and this is all this stupid commission will be. NO MORE THESE FAKE COMMISSIONS!!!!

What will be interesting is, how they form a commission for democrat mismanagement.
To: AZ_Cowboy
I was thinking maybe, just maybe, people were starting to slowly learn that it was the incredible failures of Blanco/Nagin that caused the post-Katrina problems, not anything of Bush's doing. I was thinking maybe, just maybe, people would start to get the idea.
But now, there's going to be a commission. You know what that means; Nagin and Blanco can now breathe a sigh of relief.
To: AZ_Cowboy
Yes, she is covered by the rules. Thank you.

Katrina Commission: Face time for whiny La dims, and legions, I'm telling you LEGIONS, of their constituents, all tax payer funded.
I swear, if they call a Katrina Commission, I'm gonna march on Washington!

I've said my peace for now with this beastie...
If the new commission annoys me, I'll take them out to the woodshed and tan their butts until they glow in the dark.

Do we really need another group of staunch Democrats and milquetoast Republicans appointed to furrow their brows and pull their chins and stab their fingers in the air on cue for weeks on end while they find 50 different ways to tell us "We are not prepared"? We don't, they do so they can blame it on a system, take no blame on a personal level, and request more funding to patch up holes in a system that should be dis banned and revamped completely.

Another phony finding by a commission. What a waste of time. Although, if they are sitting on commissions at least they are not spending money and passing stupid laws.

They will pack it as much as their power will allow. They will play it gingerly around the state and local responsibilities and pile on Fema and Homeland security.
I think that will apply to both Dem and GOP sides.
Not fair, but I expect it to go that way.
To: AZ_Cowboy
The next commission we should see is a jury of our peers. Not a bunch of corrupt politicians. A panel of Freepers will do. And I want it to look at politicians.
To: Indy Pendance
What will be interesting is, how they form a commission for democrat mismanagement. Why are they forming anything? This is a Republican-controlled government, let's start acting like it.
If we need a commission, it should be charged with uncovering mismanagement and corruption in Louisiana, period. That should keep the panel busy for years.
