FYI, the bottom photo is of the Surekote Rd breach, not Belaire.

Thanks for the correction, rvoitier. For those who are unaware of this fact, Yahoo photo captions are notorious for their inaccuracies and Leftist partisan gunk. The most important thing is the timestamp for when each photo was posted. That we know is accurate and vitally important to getting the truth out.

Some dimbulb TV reporter sees what's going on around the area where he or she is reporting from, and thinks that's the whole story. Well the media has only seen and covered a fraction of this story -- and got it WRONG. We need to push back to get the truth out there.

I think the truth *is* slowly getting out there. Because of your photo essay I checked around and found that the left Guardian(UK)/AP put Bush's call for 'state of emergency' at 2days later than it actually was. WoW, that's a whopper.

BTW, Google Maps has good satellite photography of Katrina's aftermath.
