I'm not into all the 'new' modern names people are picking for their kids, but, this little girl's name is priceless. And I want to point out, AGAIN, that this is the day after the hurricane, and Americans are there, helping fellow Americans, as only Americans do. Help from the heart. What an amazing ideal God left for us.

Heaven Girod, who is five-months-old, is handed over to a National Guardsman as she is being evacuated from a flooded area in New Orleans August 30. [For emphasis, this was one day after the hurricane hit.]

That's beautiful. Perhaps there are messages meant for us in childrens' names. Nonetheless, this phopto, for me, kinda cuts through all the BS.
