I've had a feeling that Blanco's delays and desire not to have the feds involved is so that her folks can get in and cover-up the corruption. if the feds come in, she loses the control in directing where certain folks are placed. We'll see.

And what did Nagin say when he criticized President Bush - he was afraid of the CIA. That was a strange thing to say, I was thinking. Why would he be afraid of the CIA?! Isn't this a free country? And God knows he's not the first official to blame Bush (for something he didn't do, I may add).

It will be very interesting to see what comes out of the investigations to follow! I'm just glad that President Bush is the one heading it up. Apparently, he lost trust after what happened with the 9/11 Commission.
