"To help keep them fed and hydrated, the Louisiana National Guard delivered three truckloads of water and seven truckloads of MREs — short for "meals ready to eat." That's enough to supply 15,000 people for three days"

And are you suggesting that this was sufficient in a city with 100,000 victims?

No, but they didn't go without food for five days and to say that there was no food or water there is to misstate the facts. Even as Shep and Geraldo were complaining about no water on Thursday night and Friday morning, the cameras were showing people with water. The situation was bad enough, it doesn't need to be exaggerated to make it more shameful.

Are you suggesting there were 100,000 in the Superdome?
