The Salvation Army is the most efficient and reliable of all charities.I knew that a long time ago. I have been contributing to the Salvation Army for many years. They have a really good program in Grand Junction, CO that helps people get back on their feet. I have known several graduates and they are grateful and continue to do well from then on.

The SA has an incredible program here where they bus kids from impoverished schools and educate them after school hours with reading and art and music, and feed them, and have dinners with their parents to help them learn to nurture their kids. It's just fantastic!

And it's all volunteer work and done with donations.
