Because a commission would start with chain of command and responsibility... and by the time they got done digging to find out where all the disaster planning and levy dollars went the dems would be toast.

BTW, I heared a blurb today that I think a lot of us missed... FEMA dropped off water and MRE's at the Superdome on Sunday before the storm... so the people inside were not without supplies the entire time... I remembered it when I heard it.

That kind of goes to the story that jrabbit mentioned last night...that one of the people in her town from NO, said they did have some water and food at the Superdome...
