They were told to come to the SD with five days worth of food and water. Like get real. How many people can pack 5 days worth of water?

Oh sink..can you imagine Nagin complaining to her about the very thing I THINK he was responsible for? He knew how to defuse blame and she let him.

I am not going to ask if you are kidding about what Nagin said...I know you aren't ... and I also know that Nagin is a moron.
What was the response when he asked "Can you imagine living there?" Was Oprah sufficiently sympathetic...
Or do WE need to send sympathy cards to this idiot!!!????

What a difference a year makes.....this article was written after last year's evacuation for Ivan. I guarantee people were thinking they would have the same experience at the Superdome during Katrina.
http://www.wwltv.com/local/stories/091604ccjrwwlnightinbowl.122e8d1b2.html Superdome general manager Doug Thornton laid down the ground rules early: be polite, put trash in the bins, keep the restrooms clean, smoke only in the designated area.
The sheriff's office sent over spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. It was served with a slice of white bread.
"This is the best I've eaten in a while," said Joe Maris, as he lined up for thirds.
