This thread is for Katrina news and updates.
I can see why NN decided to close down last night's thread, but I sure did miss it this morning.
Gretna Mayor ripping on N.O. councilman now....
Who took the poll?
I have a thought -- someone mail it to Wolf Blitzer, Jack Cafferty and Chris Matthews.... they soooooo desperately want to pin this hurricane on the President.
Without taking sides...PLEASE don't bring that conflict to this thread...enough.
where
BurbankKarl - I think you posted on last night thread a transcript of Jesse Jackson's comments about Katrina.
In that transcript was a comment that we've turned down aid from Venezuala. I just wanted to put on this thread that Jesse is lying. (No surprise whatsoever). There was an article on FR this morning that we've accepted their aid.
ROFLMAO!!!
I'd like to say that my last post is all that I am going to offer on the matter. I don't have time or the energy left to do so.
More Than 182,000 People Rescued

I have a question. Since Texas alone has nearly 200,000 evacuees, and other states have taken in evacuees, do we have any idea how many people are displaced in all three states?
What! a dem lie?? He is in line with Landrieu and every other politician in Louisiana.
Thank you, thank you, thank you...for this thread...I have been lost all day!!!
Have to go now.
Everybody who has asked so far is added!
They have no giant number...
