The night before Katrina hit - I sat and watched the Mayor of New Orleans being interviewed by the local news. He was sitting at the news desk and asked the weatherman, "what can we expect if the levees break"?
I swear to you - that's what he actaully asked the guy !!!
The man was completely clueless.
No one forget - it was President Bush who ordered the mayor to evacuate the city.
The media is so racially terrified - they can't see the truth

TURNCOAT!! This clown used to be President Bush's speech writer and he is a real whinny bit%h.

Environ mental ists are to blame...
The Army Corps of Engineers got money to fix the problem...
The money was siphoned off...
The environmentalists stopped many of the Corps projects
with their wacko ideology..the work was never allowed to
begin..
Point fingers at the real criminals here...leftie politician's
lobbyists,and their enablers..

Environmentalists who detest dams, canals and all other works of man now rage at the Bush administration for failing to give the Army Corps of Engineers everything it ever asked for--forgetting already that, as the blogger Michelle Malkin has reported, only five years ago environmentalists succeeded in halting hurricane protection work in St. Charles parish because a great egret nesting area was discovered in the levee's path.Holy crap, I hadnt heard this! WOW!

Now that picture is pretty darned insensitive. We all Know that they Mayor could not use the buses because.....................................................there were no LICENSED OVER THE ROAD BUS DRIVERS in New Orleans. Only the federal Govt. has LICENSED OVER THE ROAD BUS DRIVERS. Sure that's it. it's Bush's fault.

You mean because lefties are acting like the bunch of lying lunatics most of them are, that the President might not be elected to a third term?
Darn.
This idiotic Canadian article reminds me of the stoning scene in The Life of Brian.

In the end, the administration succumbed, accepted the idea, and then claimed the undeserved credit for it. Now it will reap the undeserved blame. The blame for Homeland Security's failure is deserved. You can't have it both ways.

Well, he's facts are wrong; I'm surprised, honestly. He's dead wrong about gas and the rigs -- half of them are almost back online and the price of gas is beginning to drop.
And he needs to ask the governor what took the NG so long.
I do understand he's talking about the appearance though, as he says "So long as the message is consistently anti-Bush, it does not have to be consistent in any other way."
I'm just convinced that as this week moves along, we're going to hear more and more of the truth.
But he's on the list, for now.
