"Now that Roberts' attitudes toward women have been revealed . . ."

Like homeless persons (AKA street bums) NOW only makes an appearance during Republican administrations, having mysteriously absented itself throughout the `90s.

(While on the subject of democrahypocrisy, `Hey Ted: how do you feel about renewable energy? Just not in your neighborhood?')

Has anyone see the ad running in support of Roberts? There's about a 15 second clip of "Plugs" Biden at the start of the hearings for Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

He advises her, in so many words, that it should be her decision as to which questions she answers, and she should be able to tell the members of the Senate which questions she deems "off limits", if they appear to be questions of law which she may have to rule on in future cases before the court.

Senator Specter in his opening comments should read Biden's instructions to Roberts WORD FOR WORD at the start of their hearings, changing only Ginsberg's name to Roberts, when appropriate.

Let the 'Rats choke on their own words, and grin and bear it!

"If Roberts is confirmed as chief justice, Bush will have established right-wing leadership of the Court for another 30 years -- a lifetime legacy of the Bush presidency

Please let it be so...puts a smile on my face just thinking about it.

Great news! If the moonbats are 'outrages' it must be good for the country.

I am waiting for the interviews with Sean Penn and Cindy Sheehan so we can get their opinion ... LOL.

Here's where, if I were a woman, I think I'd be writing letters to the editor, saying things like, "I resent Ms. Grandy ignoring the polls and tarring all women as if their highest values in life were the right to ruin themselves with immorality, and to butcher the children who follow. Perhaps these represent her core values, but they do not represent ours."

While I would prefer Antonin Scalia as CJ, Roberts may be the best choice politically given his relatively young age and the fact he's already gone through the grinder once unscathed. Plus, it provides an opportunity for Bush to push an even more conservative Justice through. Think Edith Brown Clement or Janice Rogers Brown

Can you think of the fun we could have if Democrats opposed this woman

From my blog post today:

*************

Hear me, Lefties? The mere fact that he was a business man and faced down scarier posers than you guys makes President Bush SMARTER, FASTER, more ADEPT, and more PATIENT than you!

Think the hand of fate dealt you a Katrina Royal Flush (pun intended)?

Cue Kenny Rogers - "Know When to Hold 'Em"

Yep, I figured that would send you cockroaches scuttling for your hidey-holes. Fortunately for you, I only bring out Kenny Rogers for "special occasions."

[Addendum] - Hey Kim Gandy - put some ice on it. We DON'T feel your pain.

All those aborted babies, on the other hand...hey, weren't a majority of those BLACK babies??????

Hmmmmmmm.

Groups that oppose the nomination of Judge John Roberts to replace Sandra Day O'Connor on the U.S. Supreme Court are even more furious now that President Bush has nominated Roberts to serve as chief justice.

GOOD!!!

Now that Roberts' attitudes toward women have been revealed..."

Have they? I keep missing the memos.

a lifetime legacy of the Bush presidency that women and girls will have a lifetime to regret," Gandy said.

Should perhaps read:

Abortion: a legacy of the feminIST movement that women and girls will have a lifetime to regret.

I tried to read the rest of it but I've had my fill of seething stupidity and hatred for today.

Kennedy said...... it is difficult at this time for the American people to participate fully in the selection of the next chief justice..... does this jackass propose or think I get to vote on SC judges? What a besotted fool.
