You mean, Senator Kennedy, that someone actually "bears a heavier burden" than you? Yeah, we've seen the pics of you in your bathing suit. Here's a hint: Try a salad.

The Prez' action is priceless. It's like saying "I know you're gonna fight any of my nominations. Now I'm givin' ya something to fight about."
To: InvisibleChurch
Kennedy said given the "national disaster of biblical proportions" along the Gulf Coast, it is difficult at this time for the American people to participate fully in the selection of the next chief justice. "The President should take this time to unite and heal the country -- by remaining focused on helping the hurricane victims recover, honoring Chief Justice Rehnquist's memory by allowing the nation to mourn, and taking time to ensure our next steps on the Supreme Court point the country in the direction of progress Kennedy can't walk and chew gum at the same time?

Well count me in among the outraged. I just found out that John Roberts was raised in a NONINTEGRATED family. Can you imagine that??? Both his parents were white! Obviously, this man was raised a racist!

...shedding light on Roberts' views on privacy, civil rights, women's rights, public health and worker protections... One would hope that Judge Roberts' views are that none of these percieved rights are enumerated in the Constitution of the United States.
I do wish these NAGS would get over ERA not passing.
