This is the sad dilemma we are in. The Repubs have NO CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATE to run. But at the same time, we MUST WIN and keep a power-mad Stalinist out of the White House. Great choices, right? RINO OR MORE SOCIALISM...the choice sucks.

Yup and politics is ALWAYS compromise. We can refuse to learn from the past and tear ourselves apart (again) or we can compromise and take this MUST WIN and hope to keep moving forward. Fortunately 2008 is a ways off yet with a 2006 election coming next.

Only RINO's and wimps like the "Insignificant Seven" (McCain, Chafee, Snowe, etc.) are willing to compromise, and turn our strength into weakness, and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

There's no dilemma if you don't put politics above all else. I'll have no problems voting my conscience in 2008 if McCain or Giuliani is the nominee. I refuse to vote for a candidate that is pro-abortion and to a lesser extent, pro-gay marriage and anti-gun rights and in general do long-term damage to the conservative movement.
