Well, you know, there's not much left to loot. They've moved into the territories of other parasites--who resent the competition. There's no jury pool (in the pool), no license to practice in another state--no one to sue, unless they try to sue the Army Corps of Engineers and the city herself.

I've been thinking about the particular class of NO lawyer, sitting in a Motel in Saint Louis, Mo, with lots of time on his hands. Sounds like the makings of a good screenplay.
